"To Reap the Harvest - Post Mortem"

Well, the news came out today. SMK Cochrane had a plentiful harvest from last Saturday. The grand total earned was over RM 57k. This was a total of RM 7+ k each from F3, F4, and U6, RM 4+ k from L6, and RM9+ k from F5. (Many cheers, mates!)

From the RM9+ k earned by F5, 5 Pintar earned the most at around RM 2+. Perhaps 'twas because ice-cream floats are easy to sell in Malaysia... Now I feel kinda guilty for buying from their stall three times, as well as for helping to promote them (Consumers are very likely to buy from a retailer recommended by an influential personality ;-) ) ...

As for our own class, well, we still don't actually know how much we earned, not until En. Ahmad gets the info anyway. Still, we did pretty well, and managed to sell out our "Otak-otak Harapan"...

On the side of the living dead, er, I mean, prefects, we did very well. From the zombie house, we harvested RM 3k+, while the song dedications garnered RM1k. An excellent job by the fellas in blue, if not for a few mishaps along the way...

Now, the only concern is how much we actually get back once tax deductions are factored in. By "tax deductions", I mean the school gets 70% and we keep 30%. This applies to all our earnings. Yeah. The school doesn't even have the decency to take their taxes after we subtracted expenses costs. Because of this, some classes neither gain nor lose, while some classes lose a lot. And the classes that gain only gain minimal. And the school admins still wonder why we're a little fussy with the greens...
