"Gathered Again"

We went for another Prefects' Gathering today, this time at SMK (P) Pudu. Unlike yesterday, this time there were nine of us prefects. Kak Lai Yee was the first to arrive, followed by me, and then the rest of the gang...

Kinda artistic, these PESS prefects', don't ya think? Well, the day began with the usual role call and opening speeches. Then, after that, were the performances. Lots and lots of performances. With a bit of break time in the middle...

This was taken outside the toilets, believe it or not... (The guys' toilet is only two cubicles, compared to the very, very large girl's toilet. Oh well... Girls' school...)

And this was taken in their prefects' room. As you can see, they have sofas. What you can't see, are the lockers (yes, lockers!), air-conditioning, and overall homely enviroment. Put a bed in, and you can practically sleep there!

After somewhat nice refreshments (spaghetti, ice kacang, etc...), the performances continued. Man, they sure have a lot of time to prepare for these performances. (Go figure, they started preparations in January!)

After the almost endless performances, we had a round of games. The group I was in didn't win, but we had fun working together and experiencing each others' humourous antics. (The St. Gab boys were particularly interesting to be around...) After prize giving, the day was over, although, it ended quite abruptly and unceremoniously... I'm not complaining, but maybe a proper closing ceremony would have been nice.

So, it was quite a nice event. If there was anything else worth complaining about, it's the tragic story of what happened to my yellow RIMUP pen. First of all, during the games, one of the gamesmasters borrowed my pen, and somehow, managed to split it in two. (this was a girl, mind you) After I tried my best to fix it, someone borrowed it again, and I effectively said goodbye to my pen. Sigh...
