"Freedom in Hope"

But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
-Matt 28: 5-6

Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
-Luke 24: 46-47

And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
-Mark 16: 15-16

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
-Matt 28: 18-20

And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name
-John 20: 30-31

With Christ's resurrection, we have hope. Hope of a bright future, hope of a life spent with Christ, and hope of an eternity with God in Heaven. And along with that hope, comes freedom. Freedom from sin, freedom from the past, freedom from death. My prayer, along with the prayers of others, is that you accept His gift of life. For He "came that they may have life, and life more abundantly."

Blessed Easter Sunday.
