"Brickmas"

Bangsar Village's LEGO Christmas Exhibition Round II!

They seem to be doing this every year. Only last year were we aware of it.

Left: Huge...
Right: A reminder of what is to come come 2012's end.

A newcomer to the display table: LEGO Ninjago.

Castle/Kingdoms also gets its own display.

This year there was a whole 'nother display set up a floor up. An entire room just for LEGO Star Wars! With massive scenes from every episode in the series. Above is the Millenium Falcon parked in Echo Base, from Empire Strikes Back.

And outside Echo Base. The Battle of Hoth, in its entirety.

Battle of Geonosis. (Attack of the Clones)

Mos Espa Podrace. (The Phantom Menace)

Mos Eisley Spaceport. (A New Hope) Different time period, but same planet, so they get the same display case.

Battle of Endor. (Return of the Jedi)

The Emperor's Arrival. (Return of the Jedi)

No scenes from Revenge of the Sith though. Though I wonder if there were actually any suitable scenes to be recreated from that movie. I guess they could do Mustafar, but that battle was only between two Jedi. The Coruscant Space Battle would require a whole lot of huge ships. Utapau? Nah... Wow, guess there really aren't that many suitable scenes in Revenge.

Outside the LSW gallery was this hunk of bricks. It's an ongoing project to build an 8 ft tall R2-D2. They let kids help them do it.

Well, that's all for now! It's Christmas weekend! Merry Christmas everyone!

It's the most wonderful time of the year!
