"All Stars"

(WARNING : MANY PICTURES)

This is it. This is the last wave of Bionicle in the foreseeable future...

And me and my brother have all six of this final wave!

For this final wave, titled the "Bionicle Stars", LEGO has released tributes to sets of times past. Each set is based on a popular set released before, updated and miniaturized into memorial pieces.

7116 TOA TAHU (2001

7135 TOA TAKANUVA (2003 / 2008)

7138 RAHKSHI (2003)

7137 PIRAKA (2006)

7117 GRESH (2009)

7136 SKRALL (2009)

The collectible gimmick for these final sets is that each set contains a piece of "Golden Armour", which is collected to power up the red guy.

And thus, Bionicle bows out for the last time in what will be a long time. It's been a great 10 years!
